Welcome to Chatmore
Our small class sizes ensure that each child gets what they need to excel. With a dedicated team of experienced, accredited teachers, we provide a nurturing environment where academic achievement and personal growth go hand in hand. Students thrive with a balance of structured learning, outdoor exploration, and opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
What is learning?
Learning is a process of acquiring knowledge, developing skills and growing understandings. Learning happens when connections are made or strengthened in the brain through the different experiences that we have.
Our Mission
The Chatmore family inspires young people to discover a love of learning. By celebrating their unique strengths, our students are transformed, confident indiviiiduals who feel empowered to take on the world.
What is international mindedness?
We learn about ourselves and others. We value and respect the similarities and differences between people and cultures locally and globally.
"I am happy to come to work everyday. Chatmore is a family and that's true for the wonderful school team, too. We take care of one another and that translates to a safe and nurturing learning environment for the students. We do not hold all the knowledge. Instead, it is our job to learn with our students, empowering them and giving them the confidence that they, too, can have agency over their journey."
A message from our Director, Britanni
Chatmore is a place where children are not only educated but inspired every single day. We are incredibly proud of our talented teaching team, a group of educators who bring passion, creativity, and expertise to the classroom. With years of experience and a deep understanding of each child’s unique learning journey, our teachers are committed to helping students reach their full potential, both academically and personally.  At Chatmore, we believe that learning is most powerful when families and educators work together. That’s why we place a strong emphasis on family involvement, creating a welcoming and supportive community where parents, teachers, and students are all part of the same team. Together, we create an environment that feels more like a second home—where every child is encouraged, celebrated, and guided to become a confident, curious learner. Our goal is simple: to ignite a love of learning that stays with our students for life. We want every child to leave school each day feeling inspired, excited, and eager to discover more about the world around them. Here, education is more than just meeting academic goals—it’s about nurturing the whole child, sparking imagination, and creating a lifelong passion for knowledge. We are a welcoming school and will be more thank happy to greet you when you visit!
Our Journey
Chatmore was founded by pioneer Angela L. Fubler. Angela is a believer in skill development and challenges Chatmore to remain true to its mission of following the evidence and being a change-maker in the educational landscape both here in Bermuda and around the world. Angela continuously connects Chatmore with forward thinkers and supports other learning centres in preparing their students for the future.  2004 Chatterbox Preschool & Child Study Centre was established. The Chatterbox Preschool led a successful early years and preschool programme based in Southampton. The site earned NAEYC Accreditation. This set a solid foundation for where we find ourselves 14 years later. 2011 The Chatmore Preparatory School began. We were an all boys school and here is where we put ‘teaching the way children learn’ into practice. Angela recognised the huge value in learners receiving a truly International education with a robust international curriculum; and as such Chatmore Prep was the first school in Bermuda to begin the implementation of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). 2017 Chatmore British International School was established. Now as a co-educational international school, we moved to a new location: ‘Rockmore Estate’ in Smith’s Parish. From here, we solidified our operations as a full-through school and continue our reputation as a thriving learning community.
